New Water & Sewer Rates take effect on February 1, 2010

Amendment to Section 21, Schedule of Rates of the Rules and Regulations of the Authority.  Water and Sewer Rates will increase as follows:

 Section 21 - Schedule of Rates

Schedule 1 – Sewer Service Charges

Residential Annual rate shall be increased from $264.00 to $280.00 per Domestic Consumer Units (Quarterly increase from $66.00 to $70.00 per DCU) 

Senior Citizen/Permanently & Total Disable annual rate shall be increased from $198.00 to $210.00 per Domestic Consumer Units (Quarterly increase from $49.50 to $52.50 per DCU)

 Non-residential Annual rate shall be increased from $264.00 to $280.00 per Domestic Consumer Units (Quarterly increase from $66.00 to $70.00 per DCU)

An excess rate shall be charged for quarterly consumption exceeding the quantity consumption allowance shall be as follows:

Schedule 7 - Irrigation Charges

Irrigation Only Meters shall be in a pit as per Section 8.10.4 and will be read two (2) times per year.  Bills will be rendered two (2) times per year.

 Consumption Charges shall be increased as follows:

 From $3.00 to $3.30 per 1,000 gallons                             0                -                20,000 gallons   

From $3.10 to $3.50 per 1,000 gallons                         21,000           -                40,000 gallons

From $3.25 to $3.75 per 1,000 gallons                         41,000           -                60,000 gallons

From $3.40 to $4.00 per 1,000 gallons                         61,000           -              110,000 gallons
